Itinerary
1st Day (Wed 14th May) : Cochin to Munnar - Arrival & Transfer
Arrival at Cochin airport/ railway station, meet and assistance. Transfer to Munnar. Munnar is 1800 mts above sea level and also the place of South India's highest peak (Anamudi - 2695 mts). On the way visit Valara, On the way, visit Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls; both of these are seasonal attractions, along with tea plantations. On arrival at Munnar, transfer to the Hotel. Check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park), the best place to see Nilgiri Tahr (Hemitragus Hilarious) - the mountain goat of South India & Tea Museum . Evening have a short visit to Munnar town. You can see the beautiful tea estates like a green paradise. Overnight at the hotel.
2nd Day (Thu 15th May) : Munnar - Second Day Sightseeing
Morning depart to enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Munnar visiting Mattupetty Dam/Lake, Echo Point, Gundala Lake, Photo Point, Elephant Arrival Spot, Cinema Shooting Point. Evening Spice/Tea trailing at Munnar. Overnight at the Hotel in Munnar.
3rd Day (Fri 16th May) : Munnar - Third Day Sightseeing
Morning depart to enjoy full day sightseeing tour of Munnar visiting Athukkad Falls, Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park – famous for Nilgiri Tahr(Wild goat), Anamudi Peak – South India’s Highest Peak, Tata Tea Museum, International Blossom(Hydel) Park, Pothamedu Sunset View. Evening Spice/Tea trailing at Munnar. Overnight at the Hotel in Munnar.
4th Day (Sat 17th May) : Munnar to Thekkady - Transfer
Transfer from Munnar to Thekkady
5th Day (Sun 18th May) : Thekkady - Full Day Sightseeing
After an early breakfast, go on a viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc, and quite a lot of unique birds can also be spotted. There are also few tribal villages to explore. Later, come back to the hotel Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay at Thekkady. 6th Day (Mon 19th May) : Thekkady to Alleppey - Transfer & Sightseeing
After having breakfast, complete the check-out process at your hotel and embark on a journey to Alleppey. This day is entirely yours to explore and enjoy at your own pace. You will have a vehicle and driver at your disposal for local sightseeing, and your overnight stay will be in Alleppey.
7th Day (Tue 20th May) : Alleppey to Cochin - Departure
After breakfast checkout from hotel / Houseboat (As per your stay ) and drive to Cochin Airport / railway station (depending on your departure place) for your flight / train back home, feeling content about a wonderful holiday you spent in the God's Own Country.
